Team India may change the playing XI to return to winning ways:
India v Australia 2nd T20:After losing the one-off Kingston T20I to hosts Windies in July 2017,Men in Blue have remained unbeaten in the T20 International format of Cricket. They have won 7 seven and drawn one series (1-1 against Aus in 2017).
If, India lose today’s match then it will put brakes on the winning streak of Team India, and Indian side will certainly look to be on the victorious side and keep the hopes alive in the T20 Series against Australia at Melbourne Cricket Ground.Australia took the lead of 1-0 in a 3 match series winning the first match in Brisbane on 21st Nov 2018.
7-Series win Record at stake

- 1-0 vs Sri Lanka (only away T20I)

- 2-1 vs New Zealand (home)
- 3-0 vs Sri Lanka (home)
- 2-1 vs South Africa (away)
- 2-0 vs Ireland (away)

India’s Playing XI can be changed.
India will like to reassess their Playing XI after the narrow defeat in the opening encounter against Aussies, Indian Batting Line up could see some re-arrangements in light of K.L Rahul’s poor performances. Since scoring 101* against England at Manchester, K.L Rahul isn’t able to impress the selectors as Rahul hasn’t able to cross the 30-run mark in next six matches.
The Indian Team Management has persisted with him at Number three, benched Manish Pandey and the Skipper demoting himself to number four.Consistency is the need of the hour from K.L Rahul, especially considering that he is also set to be a part of India’s top order in the upcoming Test Series.
The Team Management could also be tempted to have a relook at Indian Bowling Attack.
Yuzvendra Chahal may Replace Krunal Pandya
After the dismal performance by Krunal Pandya in the first T20 Match against Australia where Pandya was plundered for 55 runs in his four wicketless overs and was hit for as many as half a dozen sixes, Kohli might think of bringing in Yuzvendra Chahal in place of Krunal Pandya who has a brilliance of wicket-taking records in T20I.
Expected Playing XI
Virat Kohli (C), Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Dinesh Karthik, Kuldeep Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, Khaleel Ahmed and Yuzvendra Chahal.
Aaron Finch (C), Chris Lynn, Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Ben McDermott, Alex Carey, Andrew Tye, Adam Zampa, Jason Behrendorff, Billy Stanlake and D’Arcy Short.
